At present, there are no Chapters or plans to create local Chapters of the Foundation. We are a network of like-minded healthcare providers and private citizens who recognize the importance of our mission and the magnitude and scope of the problems we are working to improve.

Most common requests have been for diabetic shoes and protective insoles, Roll-a-bout walkers (knee scooters), socks and wound supplies. We will consider all requests.

Typically, those in need of assistance are identified by health care providers during patient encounters in wound centers or private offices. Providers may contact us or print off a copy of our Patient Assistance voucher, complete it and return to us by e-mail or postal service. Our Board of Directors reviews requests for assistance and reimburses the vendor providing the requested service.

Yes. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization.

All private donations go directly into The Save A Leg, Save A Life Foundation’s philanthropic account. Funds are used as part of our patient assistance program, where those in need receive help in obtaining services and resources that further our mission.
